What is elevator pulley?
In elevators, pulleys are used to move the elevator car up and down the elevator shaft. The pulleys are attached to the elevator car and to the elevator cables. When the elevator motor turns, it pulls on the elevator cables, which in turn pull on the pulleys. This causes the elevator car to move up or down.
The number of pulleys in an elevator system varies depending on the size and type of elevator. In general, there are two or more pulleys per elevator car. The pulleys are typically made of steel or aluminum and are designed to withstand the weight of the elevator car and its occupants.
Elevator pulleys are an important part of the elevator system and play a critical role in the safe and efficient operation of elevators.
