Agricultural Combine Two-Way Flexible Conveyor Chains Mc 33 Double Flex Chain for sale
Product Description
MC33DOUBLE FLEX CHAIN MC 33

MC 33 double flexible chain is a detachable chain with a strong double flexible design, which can be used for horizontal turning and conventional articulation. It maintains traction around curves with a centerline radius as small as 18 inches. Its wide top design provides the sufficient bearing surface. MC-33 chain is available in HZPT File Hard Promal (Duramal) and can be interchanged with a similar 2.500-inch chain of other manufacturers. This chain is also called the "5550" chain.
The flexibility of the MC-33 Chain provides a wide range of applications for dairy, bottling, and related industries. It runs in the direction of the open end of its chain link on the Brutaloy sprocket.
Conveyor chains are a durable and integral part of chain conveyor systems, designed to move a variety of materials and products along a designated path. Unlike belt conveyors, which use a continuous belt, chain conveyors utilize one or more parallel chains (often with attachments) to move items. They are designed for durability and reliability in harsh industrial environments.
Advantages of conveyor chains:
High load-carrying capacity: Conveyor chains are extremely rugged and designed to handle very heavy and bulky items that other conveyor types (such as belt conveyors) may not be able to handle, including pallets, large components, and bulk materials.
Durability and robustness: Conveyor chains are made of high-strength metal (usually hardened steel) to withstand harsh working conditions, abrasive materials, high temperatures, and continuous heavy use, resulting in a long service life.
Versatility and customization: Conveyor chains are available in a variety of configurations (e.g., roller chains, flat top chains, deep link chains, attachment chains) and can be customized with a variety of attachments (scrapers, pushers, wings, extension pins) to accommodate specific product shapes, sizes, and handling requirements. This makes them highly adaptable to a variety of applications.
Positive Drive and Control: Chain conveyors offer a positive drive system that ensures precise and consistent product movement. They minimize slippage and provide excellent control of material flow, even on inclines or when product is piled up.
Bi-directional Operation: Many chain conveyor systems can operate in both forward and reverse directions, providing flexibility for material routing and process flow.
Tolerance to Harsh Environments: They perform well in environments filled with dust, dirt, abrasive particles, or temperature changes, where other types of conveyors may fail or require extensive maintenance.
Easy Maintenance and Repair: If a link or section of the chain becomes damaged, it can usually be repaired or replaced with relative ease without having to replace the entire belt or system, minimizing downtime.
Space Efficiency for Specific Applications: In certain configurations (e.g., overhead chain conveyors), they can free up valuable floor space, optimizing facility layout.
Conveyor Chain Applications:
Conveyor chains are essential in a wide range of industries, especially those that require heavy, precise or rugged material handling:
Automotive Industry:
Assembly Lines: Transport car bodies, chassis, engines and other heavy components through various stages of assembly.
Paint Shops: Transport car bodies to painting and drying ovens.
Manufacturing and Assembly: Handle large parts, castings and finished products in general manufacturing, metalworking and appliance production.
Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (AS/RS): Move pallets and heavy containers in warehouses.
Mining and Quarrying:
Transport bulk materials such as coal, ore, aggregates and rock in harsh, abrasive environments.
For underground mining operations.
Food Processing:
Specialized stainless steel or plastic slat chain conveyors are used in food processing (e.g. meat processing, baking, bottling lines) due to high hygiene requirements, where rugged and easy to wash conveyors are required.
Heavy Industry:
Steel Mills: Transport hot steel slabs, billets or coils.
Cement Plants: Transport clinker, cement and raw materials.
Woodworking: Transporting logs, lumber and wood waste.
Distribution: Handling heavy pallets, crates and large packages in distribution centres and warehouses.
Waste Management: Transporting municipal solid waste, recyclable materials and sludge in waste treatment facilities.
Agriculture: For certain machinery such as combine harvesters, manure spreaders and some feed delivery systems.
Power Generation: Handling of coal, ash and biomass in power plants.
